Bogyoke Market, also known as Scott’s Market, is a popular tourist attraction for the appreciation of local architecture such as the cobblestone walking street and the purchase of local goods such as handicrafts, gemstones and seafood. There are also many antique shops selling old coins, commemorative stamps and medals.  It’s a bustling marketplace where you can immerse yourself in authentic Burmese culture.

Kandawgyi Lake is located close to Shwedagon Pagoda and Kandawgyi Park, surrounded by many restaurants and a mini zoo. You can see the most distinctive royal Mandarin Duck Boat in Myanmar, also known as the Karaweik Palace.

National Museum

Located in Dagon, the National Museum of Myanmar was founded in 1952. It is a magnificent five-story building built for spacious grounds and special landscapes. Over 4000 priceless artifacts, historical pieces of art and memorabilia are displayed in 14 halls across four floors. The main attraction of the museum is the only surviving original Lion Throne of the Burmese monarchs.
